1. School Improvement Report for 2007: will be submitted to Mr. French and Mr. Perry by June 1, 2007.

2. IB MYP exploration:
- The MYP exploration committee met in a full-day workshop on March 28, 2007 to review what we've learned about the program so far and to create sample interdisciplinary lessons to share with IBNA in our Phase B application. Ms. Kathleen Weed, IBNA MYP consultant, visited Portage last week to review our work to date and to offer recommendations on what we should do next. With a new superintendent and new Board of Education coming on board July 1, the MYP initiative for this year is concluded and will resume once the new leadership is able to familiarize itself with the MYP.

Respectfully submitted,

Linda Trepanier

Data and Assessment Committee

At our first meeting next year, we will plan a school-wide writing assessment. We are going look at class benchmarks as a tool, within departments. The state is proving slow to release data.
