Science Club, come meet in Mrs. McConney’s room on
Wednesday to go over results from the invitational and
get information for our upcoming competitions!
Attention, Huskies…
As we come to a close with scheduling
presentations, the counseling office would like to
remind you of a few MUSTS:
You MUST have your core teachers sign your
scheduling form.
You MUST have your parents sign your scheduling
form. You
MUST fill out the alternative options.
You MUST sign up for 7 credits and you MUST bring
your completed scheduling form with you when you meet
with your counselor next week (do NOT turn it in to your
grade office or to the counseling office). If you
have any questions regarding your schedule, you may ask
your counselor
at that time.
Attention, Seniors - Jostens will be in the school Feb.
17 during lunch to pass out senior jewelry and any
hoodies or sweats that were ordered. If you have
not placed your graduation order, you need to see
Jostens during lunch in the Cafeteria.
New locker assignments – attention, all students who
currently have a locker located on the first floor
between room 101 and room 114. You need to
see Mrs. Beverly in the main office for a new
locker assignment as soon as possible.
If
you did not get your report card on Friday, you can pick
it up in the counseling office.

Parking Lot Traffic
We are aware that traffic has become more problematic in the morning and at the
end of the school day in the student pick-up/drop-off lot. We are currently
working with Portage city officials on changes that can be made to facilitate
traffic flow on Milham and the surrounding streets that access the Northern
Campus. In the meantime, please plan on arriving earlier in the morning to avoid
the traffic congestion and to get your student to school in a timely manner. We
ask for your patience as we continue to refine our traffic patterns into the
Northern Campus, and please drive carefully.
PAF "Steppin'' Out at the State" is February 6
PAF hosts its 3rd annual dance party and silent auction,
"Steppin' Out at the State" on Saturday, Feb. 6. This year's event, sponsored by
Huntington Bank, features four bands: 2nd Shift, We Know Jackson, Al's Basement,
and Paul Harris.
The fun begins at 7:30 p.m., with area restaurants
providing free appetizers and the State Theatre providing a cash bar.
Approximately 50 silent auction packages from sports memorabilia to get-a-ways
will be available for bidding.
Support our athletes by dancing the night away at the
historic State Theatre in downtown Kalamazoo. The cost is $25 per person in
advance and $30 at the door. All proceeds go to the PAF. Contact Connie
Livingston for tickets at
deadrock59@charter.net or call 385-3573. You can also stop by the Kalamazoo
or Portage Huntington Bank to purchase your tickets.
