All students will be receiving a letter in the mail soon, explaining how their first day will proceed. It is important to note that each GRADE will report to a different part of Northern’s campus upon arrival. They must be at their assigned location no later than 7:50 a.m.
9TH GRADE Report to the MAIN BUILDING, SECOND FLOOR, (which is the main entry level floor), to assigned “Huskie Rooms” by 7:45 a.m. Room assignments for 9th Graders are divided alphabetically as follows:

10TH GRADE Report to the IGLOO by 7:45 a.m., (enter from the front), where they will have their School Pictures taken by Life Touch. (Re-takes: October 10)
11TH GRADE Report to the AUDITORIUM by 7:45 a.m., (enter from the front), where they will begin their day with a ‘Class Meeting’.
12TH GRADE Report to the DOGHOUSE by 7:45 a.m. (the multi-purpose building in back by student parking lot), where they will find a ‘Huskie Club Fair’.
Each GRADE will stay at their assigned ‘spot’ for about 35 minutes, then a bell will ring indicating for them to rotate to their next assigned location. Each grade will be lead by the Class Advisors and should stay together throughout the morning.
Each GRADE will attend all 4 locations, (Huskie Room, Pictures, Class Meeting & Huskie Club Fair) and will end the morning in the Igloo with a full school Pep Assembly. Everyone will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. and buses will depart at 11:07.

Yearbooks
Updated July 16, 2008: Senior Yearbook's arrive Friday, August 15th. Pick up will be in the Yearbook Computer Lab (209) from 2-4 pm that afternoon. The book will be available for pickup by the rest of the student body on the first day of school in September. If you did not purchase a yearbook, they can be purchased during the first two weeks of school for the price of $65. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Packard. Also, the first time to purchase your 2008-2009 yearbook will be the first day of school for the price of $55. Thank you for your continued support!
Summer Office Information
The main office is open 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday during the summer. The office will be closed on Fridays. Work permits can be obtained and signed in the Main office during the summer.
Counseling Office Hours
The Counseling Office will re-open August 13th from 8 - 12:00 and 1 - 3:00. Counselors will be enrolling new students BY APPOINTMENT ONLY August 25th, 26th, and 27th. To schedule an appointment please call 323-5475 anytime after August 13th.
IB Exam Results
IB exam results: Any student who sat for an IB examination in May will be able to retrieve his/her results starting on July 7 at 10:30 AM at the IBO's “Results” web site. All candidates, Diploma and Certificate, have been issued an access number and PIN code which will allow them to go online at that time to receive their scores. The actual IB diplomas and certificates will arrive at the start of the new school year and will need to be picked up in September from the IB coordinator. Instructions for accessing the IB scores are on printouts that may be picked up in the main office during school hours. If anyone has difficulty retrieving scores on July 7, please contact Mrs. Trepanier by email.
