On A Fantastic Food Drive!
7,563 cans of food were collected for the pantry at the
Portage Community Center. In addition, over $1000 in
cash was raised for the purchase of additional items.
Seven homerooms had 100% participation. Great job West!
A special Thanks to the Wrestling Team for loading the
truck and to the Student Leaders for sorting and boxing
the items. You

The
Student Leader Haiti Fundraiser collected over $1800.
The Student Leader officers presented Mr. Killips with a
check for $1,835.81 to be sent to the American Red Cross
for Haitian earthquake relief. The funds were raised by
the students at the Winter Party as well as a collection
at school. Congratulations to all of West's students for
their selfless giving! See the letter from the Red Cross

Help Student Leaders Get Cash For Your Trash! Student Leaders would like you to keep your eye out for the following recyclable items
for empty inkjet cartridges and empty laser cartridges. West Middle School can earn cash for the used items you bring in. Just bring in your recyclables for donation to the media center or front office. This collection will be ongoing - we will collect items all year round. Help us get cash for your trash! Support WMS When You Shop by taking advantage of the fund raising offers made by these businesses. Click here to see the list.
