Mission:
The Central Elementary Community will continually challenge and support our children to grow toward their maximum potential.
Vision:
The Central Elementary Community will continue to learn and grow with commitment and peace.
Central Elementary school serves more than 400 students, Y5 through 5th grade. The educational requirements of the students at Central Elementary are cared for by over 50 staff members. Our building is comprised of one young 5 classroom, and three sections of kindergarten through fifth grade. We are also supported by our MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) team, which includes two Title 1 teachers, two resource room teachers, a reading specialist, a school psychologist, and a behavioral specialist.
Students at Central Elementary are offered physical education, music, art and media instruction weekly (Spanish for fifth grade). Thanks to our supportive community, we will be going one-to-one with technology for our third through fifth grade this year. Every student will receive a Chromebook to assist and enhance their learning.
Leadership opportunities are provided for our students through the Student Leadership Team, and Safety Patrol. Students also have the opportunity to participate in activities such as Ski Club and Girls on the Run.
