Please note: Portage Public Schools is undergoing a $144 million construction project over the next few years. We will make every effort to honor your request, but be advised it may be necessary to move your assigned facility or room temporarily or permanently. If this is necessary, you will be contacted in advance.
Online application form below MUST be completed to request facility use.
When requesting a facility rental, please complete the online application at least 10 days prior to your event. This will allow us adequate time to confirm availability and schedule services to better plan for your needs.
Please keep in mind…
- Many of our school activities are already planned and on the calendar (parent-teacher conferences, fall performances and PTO annual events). Some school-related activities cannot be scheduled until school starts in September. We will make every attempt to accommodate your request.
- All guests are allowed free access to our Wi-Fi but we are unable to grant access to computers or printers for non-school organizations.
- Most PPS facilities are closed for mandatory cleaning and maintenance in the summer. We are unable to rent gyms, fields, or meeting rooms from mid-June through August as we preparing our buildings for learning in September.
- Portage Public Schools is fortunate to have exceptional facilities for student and community learning.

Portage Public Schools and the Board of Education believe that school facilities are a valuable community resource to be shared. District facilities are available to rent by community groups and nonprofit organizations as long as it does not conflict with school activities and programs, and are in keeping with the vision and values of the District and comply with the District Policy on Facility Use.
We can now accept payments online for facility rentals. Please indicate your name and invoice # and pick facility used to ensure that your account is credited for this payment.
