Welcome to Portage Public Schools Food Service. Our program offers many healthy choice for students to choose from for both breakfast and lunch. The Cafes homemade choice daily and the food bars are full of fresh vegetables, salads and fruits.

Your student’s nutrition is our priority. We encourage students to selected balanced meals and to make responsible food choices so they are ready to learn.  The Online Lunch Accounts offered through is a convenient way to pay for meals in advance, and allows you to monitor the food choices your student is making.

Does your child have food allergies?

If your child has a food allergy, please notify your school and the Food Service Department. Parents will be asked to fill out a diet restriction form and return that to the Food Service Department. Keep in mind a doctor’s signature is required on this form. Information is available to be reviewed in our office containing the ingredients we use in our menu items.
