(Testing dates for 2017/2018 school year will be announced at a later date)
The best preparation for the ACT or SAT is a rigorous high school curriculum, provided by Portage Northern. The best organized test prep is online at www.actstudent.org or www.collegeboard.com. There are full length practice tests online for students to access.
College Board Accounts
Students who took the PSAT 9, the PSAT 10 or the SAT can access their individual scores by logging in to their College Board account. Counselors visited all 10th and 11th grade classes earlier this spring to set up College Board and Khan Academy accounts. Students were instructed to write down their username/log in info, as counselors do not have access to their secure account info.
Unfortunately, some students are running into technical difficulties with accessing their College Board accounts. If you (or your student) are having troubles logging in to the College Board or in getting your scores, you’ll need to call the College Board’s customer service number directly. Their contact info can be found on their website. We apologize, but Portage Northern does not have access to students’ individual scores yet, nor can we sign in to see student scores.
For all 9th graders… you can create a College Board account on your own at www.collegeboard.org. Be sure to document your account info so that you don’t lose it in the future. Once you’ve created an account, you can view your PSAT 9 scores.
PORTAGE NORTHERN’S “SCHOOL CODE” IS 233 – 072
This number is used for all standardized testing.
