Monday 12/11

6th grade band: don’t forget you are going to Holso’s TCB today and Tuesday! Don’t forget your planners today to be stamped!

Basketball announcement: Attention all 7th and 8th grade girls…There will be a basketball meeting Thursday, December 14th during TCB in the little theater. Practice starts after the Holiday break, January 8th. Physicals MUST be on file in the main office in order to practice.

Wrestling announcement: Attention all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders…There will be a wrestling meeting Tuesday, December 19th during TCB in the little theater. Practice starts after the Holiday break, January 8th. Physicals MUST be on file in the main office in order to practice.

All students that walk to school; You need to be mindful of the traffic when crossing streets and the parking lot. The mornings are dark, making it very difficult for drivers to see the walkers. Please look both ways before crossing intersections, streets and parking lots.

Huskie Pop Sockets are back, but we only have a limited quantity.  If you would like to purchase a Pop Socket bring $10, cash only, to the front office.

Bring in your canned and nonperishable food until Friday, Dec. 15.  Student leaders will come to each homeroom, and collect cans for those who have a real hunger to enjoy the holiday season.  We ask that you check the dates on all products.  Student leaders will also be manning the front display case, collecting holiday gifts for the needy.  The gifts may be for a boy or girl, in ages 3 to 18.  Both collections will be donated to the Portage Community Outreach Center.  We ask that all gifts remain unwrapped.  Only four days left.

As of now, the leaders in the can drive promotion are:

Sixth grade: Mr. Shanafelt

Seventh grade: Ms. Goddeyne

Eighth grade: Mr. Moiles

There will be a student leader meeting this week on Monday and Friday.  Please be prompt, and please remember to fulfil your obligations.

Tuesday 12/12

All choir students remember to meet in the choir room at 12:45 PM for your concert today. This includes select choir as well.

Popcorn is back!  Popcorn will be sold at all three lunches this Thursday, December 14.  The cost is 50 cents.

Attention 8th Grade Students who are planning to apply to KAMSC….. Just a reminder that your Entrance Exam Registration Forms are due in the KAMSC office by 4 pm this Friday, December 15.

Popcorn will be sold in the cafeteria tomorrow during all three lunches.  The cost is 50 cents.
