Welcome to the North Middle School Athletics, home of the Huskies! North is a member of the Kalamazoo-Portage-Mattawan-Vicksburg-Gull Lake-Battle Creek League. Through interscholastic competition, students are expected to learn and demonstrate appropriate behavior and sportsmanship while maintaining a good academic standing.

All athletes must wear a mask. Players who are unable to wear a mask are unable to participate in athletics. All athletes must bring their own water bottle (labeled with name).
All students must have a completed Physical Form on file in the NMS office to be eligible to participate in extra-curricular sports.

Code of Conduct
All student-athletes must have a signed Code of Conduct on file in the Athletic office prior to their first competition.

We will begin “non-mandatory” Conditioning and Skills & Drills practices 3 days a week on Monday Feb 8th. You can join even if you just want to “TRY” basketball. Sports physicals not required to participate.
SPRING: Co-ed Swimming & Diving (May, June)
Open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Swimming and Diving season will be May 17th to June 10th. North Middle will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-4:45pm at Portage Central Natatorium.
