Mazie is one of many specially trained comfort dogs at Portage Public Schools. She arrived to Central Elementary in 2021 where she works supporting student and staff emotional and mental well being. Click here to watch a video on how she helps at Central Elementary.

The dogs are trained by Interquest CARES - Michigan, School Counseling Assistance and Comfort Dogs.
