Our Social Emotional Learning Dog Program exists to give students a friendly and welcoming environment while attending Portage Northern High School. 

SEL dogs create a safe, comfortable, happy, and non-judgemental educational experience. Research shows SEL dogs can positively impact student performance, at the same time reducing stress and anxiety. 

Please welcome our new comfort dog, Fletcher, to the PACK! Fletcher begins his training here at PN in February 2025 and will officially be in the building after Mid-Winter Break.  He is a 2 year old Golden Retriever/Labrador mix who joins us from Interquest CARES.
