Elementary Schools:

  • Full Days: 8:35 a.m. - 3:40 p.m.

  • Half Days: 8:35 a.m. - Noon

Middle & High Schools:

  • Full Days: 7:40 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.

  • Half Days: 7:40 a.m. - 10:55 a.m.

The following is a TENTATIVE calendar for the 2024-25 school year. This calendar is subject to change based on negotiations.

August 2024

  • 13-15: New Teachers Report

  • 20: Teacher Work Day 6-hours to work in room

  • 20: Open House (MS and EL)

  • 21-22: District/Building Meetings/Professional Development

  • 21: HS Open House

  • 26: First Day of School- ½ day students am, pm work in rooms, staff meeting if needed:

    Reminder no meetings week of P.T. conferences or 3"' Monday of every month

  • 30: Labor Day Recess

September

  • 2: Labor Day Recess

October

  • 25: End Q1: ½ day students am, pm Professional Hours

November

  • 1: No School students - Teacher Professional Development

  • 4&6: HS Conferences - 3:30pm - 7:15pm - School all day

  • 11&13: Elem. Conferences*** 4:15pm - 8:00pm - School all day

  • 12&14: MS Conferences - 3:30pm - 7:15pm - School all day

  • 27: No School for all

  • 28-29: Thanksgiving Recess

December

  • 25-31: No School- Winter Recess

January 2024

  • 1 -3: No School - Winter Recess

  • 22-30: High School Graduations (May be adjusted due to venue availability. No effect on last day of classes for seniors)

  • 30: HS Exams am, no HS students pm****

June

  • 4-5: HS Exams am, no HS students pm****

  • 6*: Last Day of School - HS Exams a.m. - ½ day ALL students a.m., p.m. Records day for all

*Cancellations beyond what the law allows will extend the final one-half day of school (and exams) beyond Friday June 6, 2025, if needed to receive full funding from the state.

** 186 Teacher days include 177-Studcnt Days, 5-PD days & 1 -work day before the first student day, 2.5-days for 4-evening conferences at 3-hrs 45-minutes each, 0.5 days for one evening open house, not more than 2-hours in length.

***Elementary Teachers are free to leave or not attend the session(s) if 100% of conferences are completed

All High School exam days have a.m. students only, and no meetings or PD in afternoon for High School Teachers (Bargaining Unit Members). A teacher may be involved with a meeting (up to 90-minutes) or PD (up to 3 hours) if they have not administered or proctored an exam on that day.

**** The High School exam dates might need to be adjusted for religious holidays

PD Days (Nov. 1, Feb. 7, and April 25) may revert to ½ student ½ PD if State Law changes prevent PD days from counting toward the 180 instructional day total.
