Troubleshooting the Skyward Portal

If you cannot login to the portal due to a forgotten password:

  1. Click the ‘Forgot your Login/Password?’ link
  2. Enter your email address and click the submit button
  3. Check your email for message from portageps.org, which will contain your login ID and a link you can use to choose a new password.

If you are not receiving Skyward emails:

  1. Check your spam folder in your email client – occasionally, Skyward emails are trapped by spam filters
  2. If necessary, follow the instructions from your email provider to ‘whitelist’ and email source, adding portageps.org to the list of domains to always allow
  3. Check with the front office of the school your child attends to validate/update your email address on our records as needed

If all else fails:

Send an email to [email protected], including the following information:

  1. A description of the problem you are having
  2. The login ID you are using
  3. The email address you are using
  4. If you know, the type of computer, operating system, and web-browser you are using
  5. DO NOT send us your password – it’s not safe!
