Student Leaders is a school wide organization for students to get involved in helping others.
French Club is a place where students can further their discovery of France and the Francophone world through cultural activities such as tasting food, making crafts, playing games and watching movies. Spanish Club brings the Spanish-speaking world to you! Our goal is for you to experience the rich cultural tapestry of Hispanic society beyond the cover of our textbooks through cultural activities such as dancing, sports, tasting food, making crafts, playing games and watching movies. Yearbook Club designs and creates the yearbook under the direction of Mrs. Holzwarth and Mrs. Dunfield. The club meets on Wednesdays after school from 2:50 until 4:00 p.m. Contact Mrs. Holzwarth for more information.
Band Jam is our after school practice club. The club meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-3:45 pm. It is open to any West MIddle School band student. The purpose is for students to practice either alone, with friends or to work with Mr. Kozian one on one. Students do not need to sign up, just show up! Contact Mr. Kozian for more information.

Comic Book Club – is a place for fans of comics of any genre to congregate. It’s a place to draw, share your work, develop character or story ideas and spend time with like-minded people. Some of us are working on projects destined for publication and others of us are just in it for “the love”. Comic Book Club meets from 3-4:15 2nd through 4th Thursdays of each month. Forensics -is a competition based “speaking sport” where contestants present pieces from literature, theatrical works, or original speeches in a number of different events. Members attend tournaments and compete against students from other middle schools and are judged and ranked. There are two tournaments per year, one in the fall, and one in the spring. Newspaper Club- is a student led group for 6th, 7th and 8th graders which meets every Tuesday during XTS. The club is working together to create a newspaper for the student body at West.
