Staff at Haverhill Elementary School got an up-close look at the construction progress on their future school building this week.
Led by representatives from the construction crews in charge of the project, teachers and staff made their way through the construction site Monday, Feb. 3, 2025. Walking among the ongoing construction, staff could start to see the vision of learning spaces come to life.
Haverhill and Central elementary schools are the first schools to be built from the 2021 Building the Future of Elementary Learning Bond. Both schools are scheduled to open in fall 2025.
The work will continue next at the new Woodland Elementary School, which is scheduled to open in fall 2027. To follow along with the projects, visit portagebond.com.
