6th Annual Spruce It Up Day! Come join the LCE students staff and parents to spruce up our landscape areas. Bring your gardening tools, gloves and gear. Students will earn a Principal’s Pick token for participation. The date is Friday, August 24th 8:30-11:30 am.  Contact Kelly Jensenius at [email protected] if any questions or concerns.

Welcome to Lake Center Elementary!  We are looking forward to having a wonderful school year full of fun and learning.  The Lake Center staff is busy preparing and will see you on September 4th from 8:35-12:05.

Young 5 and Kindergarten students and parents we will see you at the Meet and Greet on August 27th from 5:30-6:30 pm and NEW families to Lake Center we will see you on August 28th 5:30-6:30 pm.

As an educator and a parent, I know that school must be a warm and inviting place where everyone feels cared for and safe. Lake Center Staff provides those comforts for all our students along with challenging curriculum to meet the needs of all our students. Student Safety Before and After School – NEW start and end times below:

Breakfast begins – 8:25 am

Doors open (first bell) – 8:33 am

School begins (final bell) – 8:35 am

1/2 day dismissal – 12:05 pm

Full day dismissal – 3:40 pm

Please note-it is important that your walker NOT arrive to school any earlier than 8:30 am unless actively supervised by parents. Many students are coming early to play on the equipment as well as to play basketball. We do not have adult supervision until 8:33 am. Walking students are required to leave school grounds at the end of the day, they may not stay on the playground unless they have checked in at home.
