
The annual Panther Palooza was a party this year at Portage Community High School. 🥳🤩👏 Staff and students celebrated the end of the school year with games, prizes and snacks.











As the school year comes to a close, we have many retiring staff members to thank, including Becky and Tami, who have a combined 55 years of service to our District!! 🥳👏
Thank you to Becky Klimp (WMS: 25 years) and Tami Elzinga (CHS: 20 years) who are retiring from our Food Service Department. We will surely miss these great ladies and thank them for their hard work through the years.


Last week, Angling Road Roadrunners celebrated the end of the school year with a Field Day. Water games, sack races and lots of sunshine made for a great time for all!

Learning to bake involves math, attention to detail and lessons on kitchen safety. 5th graders from Haverhill Elementary are getting these hands-on lessons in their new Baking Club.
A special thank you to Haverhill teacher Ms. Harrell and building substitute Ms. Cox for putting on such a great experience for the students.
And thank you to Dr. Ledlow for opening up the Portage Northern High kitchen and to folks in the Transportation Department for getting these students to the high school for the club after school.










Multiple community organizations are hosting a Tornado Resource Event Friday, May 24, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Portage Zhang Senior Center for any families impacted by the tornado. Please spread the word with your neighbors.


It may be hot outside, but we are already looking ahead to winter! We are happy to announce the upcoming musicals for early 2025, including a collaborative show involving both Portage Northern and North Middle students.


The paddle board is not only beautiful but functional too! Riley and others tested out the Grand Champion award winner in the Portage Northern High Natatorium .
