At West Middle School, Mr. Messenger and Mr. Bailey have been presenting a "Take Care of Each Other" lesson to every class in the building.

The Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports motto for Portage West is "The West Way" which asks students to 1) Take Care of Yourself, 2) Take Care of Each Other, and 3) Take Care of This Place.
