Portage Northern Drama is thrilled to have the opportunity to train students in Chicago and work with industry professionals to debut this production of ComedySportz High School League® in Southwest Michigan!
This audience interactive show pairs two teams of actors against each other as they compete in short form improv games and try to win the audiences' hearts and votes! Each show will feature a "referee" who is a professional actor from ComedySportz! Improv has never been more competitive or more fun!
ComedySportz began in Milwaukee, WI in 1984. Over the years, ComedySportz has grown to include productions in 30 states and England! In the Chicago area alone there are over 30 schools using this program and have been for over a decade. Portage Northern is the first school in Southwest Michigan to host this program.

This unique theatrical experience takes place in the Black Box Theater at Portage North Middle School and will also include our PN ComedySportz High School team versus both a PN Staff Team & a PN Alumni Team.
