We were fortunate to meet some of our Future Huskies at our annual Future Huskies Welcome Night on Wednesday, February 21 from 6-8pm. Students and families were invited to make their way around the building and listen to some departmental presentations. This was our highest attended Future Huskies Night and we are so grateful to have been able to connect and generate some excitement about the next chapter in these students/families lives!
If you missed the event or just want to take another look at the information shared, please click here for the Department Presentations that were shared with families. More information will be available at our Open House and Freshman/New Student Orientation in August.
We also had some Huskie Swag on hand for families to purchase. The Freshman "class shirt" is pictured below. We encourage our Freshman to purchase this shirt so that they can actively participate in our "Class Competitions" throughout the year. These items can still be purchased for $15 cash in our Main Office.
For all of our students/families/alumni/community, we offer our PN Brick Sale. This is an amazing opportunity to leave your mark at PN. We have 2 different sizes available at the Huskie Stadium football field and Huskie Field soccer field. The engraving is even done on site with our Wood Technology students! The image is below and bricks can be purchased using the QR code or via the website here.
August will be here before you know it! In the meantime, we invite you to download the PPS app, bookmark our website here and follow us on Facebook and Instagram under "officialportagenorthern". Our wonderful PTO, PN Parents Compass, is also a valuable resource. You can check out their website here and follow them on Facebook under "Portage Northern Parents Compass-PTO".
Starting high school doesn't have to mean that families have to be less involved in their student's education or their lives. At PN our PACKstrong motto is deeply imbedded into our culture. We encourage our students/staff/community to be exhibit Physical & Mental Toughness, be Accountable, show Commitment and gain Knowledge. We encourage our students, families and our community to become involved. We have many ways to achieve that at PN. It's Always a Great Day to Be a Huskie!
