The 1st place winner of a large art competition in the Kalamazoo area is one of our own PPS students!
PinPin Eiamtamai won 1st place in this year's Kalamazoo Valley Community College High School Art Competition. PinPin is a foreign exchange student from Thailand attending Portage Northern High School.
The competition is a very large and well regarded exhibition, said PNHS art teacher Sarah Nott.
"PinPin can be extremely proud to have won," she said. "Our PNHS Huskies are lucky to have such a talented artist in our student body."
The artwork is done on inked scratchboard, which is done without the ability to erase. It's titled "One Track Mind, One Track Heart" and is inspired by favorite music.
