Our Daily Announcements to our students
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Our Teacher Talent[less] Show was a wonderful success!
We were thrilled and grateful to have so many students and friends in attendance, as we laughed and made fun of ourselves. If you would like to have a taste of the show, click this link to see the music video of “Second Floor Benches” and hit this link to see Phoebe’s work as a substitute teacher!
And from everyone’s work and contributions, we raised over $2,900 toward a new therapy dog as Phoebe approaches retirement. That means we are nearly 40% of the way toward our goal of raising the $8,000 we need. If you would like to help, just hit this link to contribute. Or if you would like to donate offline, send me an email or give me a call – (269)323-5255 – anytime. Thanks so much, for helping all our kids today and for our kids years into the future.
An update on our student who had the incredibly difficult experience on Monday
We are truly blessed to say that our student is doing well! The student is stable and alert and breathing on one’s own. The student is recovering in the hospital, as medical professionals work to determine exactly what happened – and what to do to prevent an episode like this from occurring again.
On Monday and afterward, a number of folks were speculating through social media what happened – and some of that speculation was simply not true. We are so grateful that the vast majority of our students and community members did not speculate and instead waited – and hoped and prayed. And together, we are so thankful for the wonderful news.
Attention Seniors!
Are you interested in speaking or performing a musical selection at graduation?
If the answer is yes, then we ask that you please stop by Señora Reidel's room to sign up for an audition time slot. The deadline to sign up to audition is Friday, April 12th. Auditions for graduation speakers will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd, and auditions for musical performances will be held on Thursday, April 25th. We hope you will consider taking part in our special graduation tradition.
Last reminder, seniors!
Senior cap-and-gown pictures will be Tuesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 3
To continue our tradition of taking class pictures since 1922, we will be taking pictures of each of our seniors Tuesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 3 up on the third-floor bridge, and these pictures will be used for our class composites that hang down near the Activities Office.
We will have our photographer at the 3rd-floor bridge taking pictures of our students wearing caps and gowns on
● Tuesday, hours 5-7
● Wednesday, hours 1-4
Seniors, you don’t need to bring your own caps and gowns; we will have some waiting for you. Wear a nice shirt; this picture of you will be hanging on our wall for at least the next 100 years. We will be calling seniors down alphabetically. If you have an off-campus class, stop up there when it works for you; we want to make sure that we don’t miss anyone. You might have to stand in line for a few minutes, so thanks in advance for your patience. Any questions? Drop me an email anytime – and thanks!
Congratulations, Mustangs…
