Schools of Choice
Participation in the State of Michigan Schools of Choice is voluntary. PPS elects to participate in both the In-County and Out-of-County programs.
Schools of Choice applications are accepted annually from March 1 to April 1. Decisions are emailed to families by May 1. Approval is through graduation and school pathway is selected during application process.
All decisions are final. Families are strongly encouraged to be as thorough as possible during the application process. Lack of information may result in denial. No appeals will be accepted. Families will be permitted to apply again the following school year if desired.
Enrolling at PPS through Schools of Choice requires two actions:
Families must APPLY for approval to attend through Schools of Choice/Non-Resident Transfer
Approved families will ENROLL through Skyward after receiving formal approval
